SAURASHTRA MADE INTO THE RANJI TROPHY FINAL 1ST TIME

Rajkot : Saurashtra have won RANJI semifinal against Panjab which was led by their captain Harbhajan,Panjab got out cheaply in their second innings,they scored only 119 runs as they lost the match.


Saurashtra won the toss and elected to bat,in the first innings Jackson hit ton for Saurashtra,he scored 107 runs off 172 balls,Shitanshu,Jaydev,Kamlesh and vishal also hit 50's they supported Jackson well so in the first innings Saurashtra managed score of 477.

In reply Panjab starts their innings well but al top three batsman failed to register a big score they all only managed a half-century against their name,Panjab's middle order doesn't do much and whole team just got out for 299 runs,they gave a huge lead to Saurashtra of 178 runs.

But yet there was twist in the second innings of Saurashtra as they only managed score of 170 runs, their top scorer was Shitanshu who made 53 runs,Panjab ball well and their captain Harbhajan manages to take 4 wickets.

In the second innings of Panjab they did not stand on situation and got all out on the score of 119 runs as they were given task of scoring 348 runs,for Saurashtra Vishal Joshi manages to take 5 wicket hall for his team and Saurashtra made into the ranji final first time.
